Day: 10-11: One day yes and one day no.

 Day 10: interview day

well the truth is that this second interview I was a little nervous since I didn't review enough (it's not that I need to study strictly to do well in an interview, but I usually review a little so that I don't forget small things) Being honest I feel somewhat embarrassed but good.. I feel that I could have done much better. Anyway, my presentation was decent and the teacher liked me.. so much so that if I continued with the good work I would give immunity for the next interview!! (that means that I will not participate in the next interview because I went very well in these courts.)

I am proud!! I will do my best to earn that immunity, I will not lower my guard >:)

Day 11: my first non-attendance

It is the first time that I do not attend the class last Saturday, what happened was that my mother had married and well one some events that happened in these days by the wedding that already happened.. Then because of those events he did not attend the last class.

I honestly feel really uncomfortable skipping class.. especially because normally when I attend I write down absolutely everything that the teacher says to have notes to guide me with the next interview (if it’s my turn to do it) I had to settle for the notes that I pass a colleague (but I thank her very much <3)

This is what I said:

Today we gave natural disasters.
And a little grammar, We gave the important dates Thursday 3 and 10 for the blog interview on 19 and the test of unit 4 until 31 October. From the vocabulary mentioned flood and typhoon: Droughts,Tornadoes,Hurricane.

From the vocabulary mentioned floods and typhoons:
Droughts
Tornadoes
Hurricane

The imperatives that are orders mentioned:
1 stay at home
2 save food
3 stay calm
4 evacuate
5 do not drive
All imperatives begin with the verb

And to make the report the imperatives are used in informative form

I place the examples: the police ordered not to drive!

The weather report says stay home!

Along with some photos taken of the class:

a little use of grammar:

and some last photo:

At the moment that is the information I have of the previous class.. I guess that on my own (obviously) I will see as I advance a little, I hope and I can finish all the activates that are proposed to me in what remains of cut.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

one thing I hadn’t been told was that they left an activity for the blog about what they had talked about the new unit (about the weather apparently)

ACTIVITY:

Well, earthquakes have rarely been seen here in colombia (or almenos in barranquilla does not make sense that) but something that if it is dangerous are the strong rains with wind, the known "gale"

They are completely strong winds where heavy rains are included, these strong winds can wipe out everything and take away everything that lies ahead and even heavy things. Before by the quantities of water that were preserved on the roads managed to drag cars, And even these waters called "streams" also take people away if you go in there, they are like rivers with strong currents and if you neglect you can die drowned because they drag you to the sewers or the real river of the city.

recommendations to prevent future accidents:

* advised not to leave their homes or an enclosed place where their structures (which have a roof) are rigid enough not to be collapsed by the wind

*  Try not to swim or cross a "stream" because you do not know how deep or strong the streams can be and can end in tragedy if you do not get out of there

* you should not use umbrellas with strong winds and more if you are of a very light weight since the strong drafts can throw you very far and you could seriously accident

* rain and strong wind can drag objects that can hit you if you are in a very open area, protect yourself and cover yourself but never put yourself in very open areas or exposed to these places

* If you find yourself inside a mobile car in the middle of a very dangerous stream, the only thing you can do is shout for help to get you out to prevent the water from dragging your car. Because sometimes these currents of how deep they are up to half of the cars preventing them from moving.

In my case the rule that I apply most and which is generally the safest is to shelter in a house or building that is resistant to this type of disaster since I am not wet and most importantly. I won’t have an accident by exposing myself out there.
